This creative chemistry defines the collaboration between international model Rachel Renou and photographer and agency founder Mohammad Jafari.

For nearly a year, the two have worked together on various projects, creating images that stand out for their natural flow and expressive strength. For Jafari, their collaboration highlights how essential harmony is in the creative process.

“There is no perfect photographer or perfect model,” he says. “What matters is that both people are on the same wavelength. When the energy is right, images gain a soul.”

For Jafari, photography is more than technique. The word itself — “painting with light” — reflects how he sees his work. His task as a photographer is to reveal the inner light of a person and create a dialogue between light and shadow.

After working with hundreds of models, he has noticed one common trait: “Models are highly emotional people. They are always searching for a certain feeling — and that is what makes fashion photography alive.”

He also advises aspiring models to stay realistic. “The industry is far more strategic than it appears. Looks alone are not enough — personality, presence, and uniqueness truly matter.”

Through his agency Modelnest, Jafari aims not only to discover new talent but also to help models understand how the industry really works.
